Curriculum vitae

Acknowledgments

My research is focused on several areas, some theoretical, such as the identification of the best model structure and the computation of prediction uncertainty, some more applied, such as the prediction of fate of toxic contaminants in aquatic environments and the quantification of their environmental hazard. I developed the model TOXFATE (Publications and software and developed a new method of ranking based on graph theory and Hasse diagrams.

I am also interested in scientific visualization to display data collected in lakes using volume visualization (example Hamilton Harbour, Ontario, Canada), for a 3D-static picture, and I developed a program, Data Animator, to display the dynamic behavior (view animations) of physical, biological and chemical parameters in lakes.

Since I am also interested in letting others understand the problems of the Great Lakes I developed a CD-ROM called "Discover the Great Lakes" now out of print because Environment Canada (a bilingual government department) did not have the funds to develop a French version.

For your convenience I have split the list of my publications according to the research area.
